It was in 2004 when Hasan Habib also displayed his stellar skills in playing poker. He did not win first place but he did place second at the US$25,000 Championship event of the World Poker Tour. He was defeated by professional poker player Martin De Kniff. Nevertheless, he was able to take home the big amount of US$1,372,223. In the same year, this professional poker player also participated in the US$15,000 Five-Diamond World Poker Classic event of the World Poker Tour. He made a money finish and gained US$108,906. This professional poker player also participated and reached the final table at the US$25,000 Championship of the World Poker Tour in 2005.
Hasan Habib's victories include winning a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2004 when he won in a US$1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Split event, and a gold bracelet and US$306,000 when he joined and won in the inaugural No Limit Hold'em event of the fourth World Championship of Online Poker.
